We built Everyone Can Garden with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought. We collect as little as possible, we don't sell anything, and we don't track you.
When you enter your zip code during onboarding, we use it to determine your USDA hardiness zone and provide local weather data. Your location is used only on your device to fetch weather information — it is never sent to our servers.
When you scan a plant, your photo is sent to our diagnosis API for processing. Photos are used solely to generate your diagnosis and are not stored on our servers after processing is complete.
We generate a random identifier for your device to manage your scan history and usage. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any personal information. It is stored only on your device and resets if you reinstall the app.
If the app crashes, an error report may be sent to help us identify and fix bugs. These reports contain technical information about the crash only — no personal data, no photos, no location.
If you subscribe to Garden Care or purchase scan packs, your transaction is processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of your purchase status through RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.

Your scan history is stored locally on your device. We retain anonymous scan records (diagnosis type, zone, timestamp) on our servers to improve accuracy over time. These records contain no personal identifiers.
Because we don't collect personal information linked to your identity, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions, contact us at the address below.
Everyone Can Garden does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and contains no age-inappropriate content.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
